Askaulie ("we," "us," "Aulie") is a service operated by Vallon Studios Limited, a company registered in Alberta, Canada. These Terms apply whenever you buy and receive a private buying session from us.
You are buying a decision. When you submit a session and pay, Aulie produces a recommendation — typically one primary product, one adjacent alternative, and one reserve pick — based on the information you provided. You receive this recommendation on your session page.
We are not a store. We do not sell or ship the products. When you click through to a merchant, you are on their site and their terms govern your purchase, shipping, returns, and warranty.
Session fees are posted at the time of checkout and quoted in US dollars. Payment is processed by Stripe, Inc. We do not store your card details.
If Aulie cannot produce a confident recommendation for your ask — for example, the budget is too low for anything meaningful, or we don't have the knowledge base to source what you're looking for — your payment is refunded in full and your session ends. Stripe processes refunds in 5–10 business days; the exact timing depends on your card issuer.
Refunds in this case are automatic. You do not need to ask. You will see a refund message on your session page.
The session page offers a "ripple" — if the primary pick doesn't land, you can advance to the adjacent pick, and then to the reserve pick. This is part of the session.
If, after working through the ripple, none of the picks fit, reply to the check-in email and we will open a new session for you at no charge. This is a one-time courtesy per original session.
We do not offer refunds for completed sessions beyond the automatic refusal path and the one-time courtesy re-session. A decision was delivered; that is what you paid for.
We do not take payment or consideration from brands in exchange for recommendations. Aulie picks based on fit for you, not commercial arrangements.
We do not retarget you. We do not serve ads. We do not sell your data. We do not share your session details with brands.
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use Askaulie.
Don't submit sessions that you intend to weaponize against another person, that involve illegal goods, or that require Aulie to research targets or individuals for non-gift purposes.
Our total liability for any session, for any reason, is limited to the amount you paid for that session. We are not responsible for issues with merchants, shipping, product defects, or anything after you click through from a pick to a merchant site.
Disputes are handled under the laws of the Province of Alberta, Canada. If a dispute cannot be resolved directly with us, it will be submitted to binding arbitration in Alberta.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version that applies to your session is the one in effect when you paid.
