Terms of Service
Askaulie ("we," "us," "Aulie") is a service operated by Vallon Studios Limited, a company registered in Alberta, Canada. These Terms apply whenever you buy and receive a private buying session from us.
What you're buying
You are buying a decision. When you submit a session and pay, Aulie produces a recommendation — three picks based on the information you provided. You receive these on your session page.
Most sessions deliver in minutes. Sessions in our Concierge tier deliver within 24–72 hours by email. Sessions in our Private Office tier deliver within 3–5 business days by email. Aulie tells you the tier and the timing before you pay.
We are not a store. We do not sell or ship the products. When you click through to a merchant, you are on their site and their terms govern your purchase, shipping, returns, and warranty.
Pricing and payment
Session fees are posted at the time of checkout and quoted in US dollars. Payment is processed by Stripe, Inc. We do not store your card details.
When Aulie can't do it well
If Aulie cannot produce a confident recommendation for your ask — for example, the brief falls outside what Aulie is built for, or there is not enough catalog match to deliver a fair set — your payment is refunded in full and your session ends.
Refunds are processed by Stripe and take 5–10 business days to appear on your card, depending on your card issuer.
Refunds happen automatically in two cases: when Aulie cannot produce a recommendation, and when the three-or-leave disclosure is triggered and you choose to leave. You do not need to ask. You see a confirmation on your session page.
Beyond those two cases, completed sessions are non-refundable. A decision was delivered; that is what you paid for.
When Aulie can't find three at your budget
Sometimes Aulie can find some, but not all, of the three picks at your stated budget. When this happens, you'll see a clear disclosure: the picks Aulie found in-budget, and the closest options above budget that match your brief. You can accept one of the picks, or refund the session in full.
The choice is yours. No follow-up. No upsell.
What we don't do
We do not take payment or consideration from brands in exchange for recommendations. Aulie picks based on fit for you, not commercial arrangements.
We do not retarget you. We do not serve ads. We do not sell your data. We do not share your session details with brands.
What we ask of you
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use Askaulie.
Don't submit sessions that you intend to weaponize against another person, that involve illegal goods, or that require Aulie to research targets or individuals for non-gift purposes.
If something goes wrong
Our total liability for any session, for any reason, is limited to the amount you paid for that session. We are not responsible for issues with merchants, shipping, product defects, or anything after you click through from a pick to a merchant site.
Disputes are handled under the laws of the Province of Alberta, Canada. If a dispute cannot be resolved directly with us, it will be submitted to binding arbitration in Alberta.
Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version that applies to your session is the one in effect when you paid.
